One of the many pleasures of this year's NXNE festival was catching the Roaring Girl Cabaret's set at the Painted Lady on Ossington Street.The bar itself is gorgeous, but Miranda and company are stunning players. After their set I went up to grab a cd and compliment Miranda's choice of dress, saying I first heard of her during Sarah Slean's holiday show this past December.
She smiled and like a femme fatale spilled her secrets, she borrowed the little blue number from Slean herself, it's a touch tight but still does the trick.
