I have a weakness for dresses, whether it's a party dress, cocktail dress or cupcake dress, I can't help myself. In-between classes yesterday I took a gander in Dressed In Time (5670 Spring Garden) and found pink frosting-coloured crinoline for a measly $40. If you've ever contemplated such a purchase it should be noted they sell anywhere from $100 - $500 in Toronto boutiques.But the best part was after spending the evening talking about gender performance and how little girl's get stuck with "pink" in my philosophical issues of feminism class, I showed my purchase to my prof. We both giggled and wondered what Judith Butler think?
